Collage

We love collage. Our journey into making collages started out as a conversation about a common interest in exploring that art form. Soon came a series of collaborative small experiments we called “warm ups”, using old postcards with beautiful settings as backgrounds to create scenes. Many of these can be seen on this page. We like to use old periodicals, books and photographs, as well as fabric, parts of paintings, maps and other media for our material sources. A lot of objects used have been found at antique shops during day trips that we take to tour small towns around New Hampshire and Vermont.
